Online Banking and Bill Pay – FAQs

What is Wrentham Online with Bill Pay?

Wrentham Online with Bill Pay is our online service that allows you to access your account information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  If you enroll in Bill Pay, you can also pay bills online.  Using Wrentham Online with Bill Pay, you can:

  • View real time account balances and history
  • Have 24 hour access to checking, savings, loans and CDs
  • Export history to financial software or spreadsheets
  • Transfer funds between accounts
  • Pay bills online
  • Request stop payments
  • And more!

How do I get started with Online Banking?

First, you need to apply.  Simply click “Apply” from the Online Banking menu.  We will process your application promptly. 

How do I sign up for Bill Pay?

You must be signed up for online banking in order to enroll in Bill Pay.  Just click “enroll” from within online banking and follow the screen prompts.

What do I need to bank online?

Wrentham Online with Bill Pay works well on most of today’s browsers which support 128 bit SSL encryption.  If your browser does not support these encryption levels, you’ll need to update it. 

What types of accounts can I view?

You can view all your Wrentham Co-operative Bank accounts and loans.

How often is my account information updated?

Account information is updated in real-time, offering you the most current information available.

How secure is my personal account information?

Wrentham Co-operative Bank uses the latest internet security available, including secure communications (SSL), firewalls, 128 bit encryption, and operating systems designed to provide maximum security.  We have also added an additional layer of security over the login process.  Check out our Enhanced Online Security page and Education Center for more details.

Why am I signed off sometimes and I have to sign in again?

If Wrentham Online with Bill Pay has been inactive for a period of time, the system may automatically sign you off to prevent unauthorized use of your accounts and to prevent others from viewing your information.

Why does my password expire?

To help maintain the security of your accounts, you will periodically need to change the password you use to access Wrentham Online with Bill Pay.

Can I pay any bill using Wrentham Online with Bill Pay?

Yes.  You can make payments to anyone in the United States from the utility company to the local babysitter.  You may schedule payments to be made immediately or on a specified date in the future.  You can even set up recurring payments so you do not have to worry about paying your regular bills.  Bill Pay eliminates the need for writing checks or addressing envelopes.  More importantly, it saves you time and simplifies your busy life.

What type of account is required for Bill Pay?

Bill Pay can only be used with a checking account.

May I pay bills from more than one checking account?

Yes.

How far in advance should I set up a payment to ensure it is paid on time?

We recommend that payments be made at least five (5) business days in advance of the due date of the payment.

Can I transfer funds between my accounts?

Yes. You can transfer funds between any of your Wrentham Co-operative Bank accounts, except for passbook accounts.

Do I need extra software or hardware to use Wrentham Online with Bill Pay?

No extra software is necessary.  You can access your Wrentham Co-operative Bank accounts from almost any PC that has internet access.

Will Wrentham Online with Bill Pay work with my current Internet Service Provider?

Yes. Wrentham Online with Bill Pay works with any ISP.

Can I access my accounts from both home and work?

Yes.

What precautions can I take to make sure my information stays private?

  • Keep your password(s) confidential.
  • Choose a strong password.  Passwords should be easy for you to remember but hard for someone else to guess.
  • Always log off Wrentham Online before leaving your computer.
  • Run anti-virus and anti-spyware regularly.
  • Remember that the bank will never request your password.  We do not send emails to verify your personal information. If you receive an email requesting such information, do not respond to it and contact the bank at 508-384-6101 right away.
